This is a stunning "Opals-On-Black" Teardrop Black Doublet, constructed using top Gem Coober-Pedy Crystal Opal.

Called an "Opals-On-Black" doublet because of my "picture framing" the Opal Gemstone with a jet black leadlight glass surround which highlights the beauty of this lovely Gem Opal.

br>Colors on display here are beautiful crimsons, royal blues, orange, electric blues and greens.

This teardrop gem opal doublet could be made into a stunner of a pendant if set into 14 ct. yellow gold or better.
