Black Solid Opals - S033 Price: SOLD A trio of bright Black Solid Opals from the opal mining fields of Lightning Ridge. The largest in a Teardrop shape and two Ovals. The Teardrop Opal shows deep emerald greens with hints of a deep blue and green gold. A thin line of grey coloring runs from the top of the stone to the bottom side of the Gem, giving a slight banded effect. The larger Oval Opal plays a deep irridescent green at every turn and features a high dome cabochon cut. The small Oval Opal Gem features a rolling flash showing a beautiful deep coppery bronze color, with a hint of deep green when viewed at an acute angle. All three Solid Opal Gemstones have been cut and polished to a perfect mirror finish.
