An exquisite and beautiful pair of  Australian Gem Opal Earrings, created using Gem quality Crystal Opal, from the opal mining fields of outback Coober-Pedy, presented here in the form of  matching two-tier sparkling and fiery gem crystal opal earrings.

Colors at play here are flashing reds, touches of violet and differing fiery flashes of electic blues and greens.



To fully compliment these perfectly matched oval and teardrop Gem Opal Earrings, I have used Australian solid 14ct. yellow gold throughout, including the finely worked handcrafted chenier, located at the top, middle and bottom of the earrings.

For the earring bodies, I have used jet black leadlight glass (MOHS hardness of 6.5 to 6), bonding the opal to glass using a special compound, then contouring, shaping and then cut and polished to perfection.
